Part-time Project Manager (School Governance and Efficiency)52 (EDB/SGE/173/26)
Salary:
$560 per hour (Required to work 16.5 hours per week)
Entry Requirements:
(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent [see Note (i)];
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; or a teacher's certificate awarded by the former Colleges of Education or the former Hong Kong Institute of Education, or equivalent;
(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) [see Note (ii)], or equivalent;
(d) At least 15 years' teaching experience in government school; and
(e) At least 3 years' experience in coordinating or organising large-scale territory-wide joint school education activities. Experience in organising territory-wide joint school national education activities preferred [see Note (iii)].

Note:
(i) For general awareness, a locally-accredited Hong Kong bachelor's degree is at Level 5 under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF). While there are other qualifications under HKQF Level 5, for the purpose of this recruitment exercise, only bachelor's degree is acceptable. (ii) For appointment purpose, 'Grade C' and 'Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 3' and 'Level 2' respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(iii) Candidates should mark clearly on their application forms the years of experience they have in coordinating / organising large-scale territory-wide joint school education activities. Experience in organising territory-wide joint school national education activities preferred.
Duties:
(a) To plan, coordinate and support government schools and other organisations in launching the "Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country" joint school national education activities for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland (30A);
(b) To plan and coordinate the Gala of "Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country" for the celebration of 30A;
(c) To provide assistance on the preparation of various reports, briefs, speaking points, lines-to-take, speeches and attend meetings related to the "Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country" joint school national education activities; and
(d) To perform any other duties as assigned.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.
