Part-time Project Officer (EDB/SE/171/26)
Salary:
$206 per hour (Required to work 16 hours per week)
Entry Requirements:
(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or related subject, or equivalent;
(b) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 [Note (i)] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(c) A minimum of 2 years of relevant post-degree working experience;
(d) Working experience in educational projects and research preferred;
(e) Experience in producing graphic designs and infographics preferred;
(f) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; and
(g) Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and organisation skills, ability to work independently and as a team to meet requirements.
Note:
(i) For appointment purpose, "Grade C" and "Grade E" in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to "Level 3" and "Level 2" respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(ii) Candidates will be shortlisted according to their qualifications and experience.
(iii) As notifications will be sent to applicants by email, applicants should provide an accurate email address in their application. As it takes time to verify candidates' qualifications, an invitation for the selection interview does not imply that the candidate has met the entry requirements of this post. Duties:
(a) To assist in preparation, development, implementation and evaluation of projects related to supporting students with AD/HD ;
(b) To provide consultation to teachers in designing and/or carrying out support programmes;
(c) To organise and deliver training activities for dissemination of skills and knowledge to students with AD/HD and their parents;
(d) To update and maintain materials relating to support for students with AD/HD on the EDB website;
(e) To coordinate and liaise with school personnel and other stakeholders concerned in AD/HD related projects;
(f) To assist in distributing, collecting, compiling, researching and updating materials, data and returns;
(g) To provide executive support to the Section; and
(h) To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.
