Job Title: Assistant Community Organiser (Part-time) 
Salary: HK$46.5 per hour 
Entry Requirements: (a) Obtained education level at Primary 6 or above, or equivalent;
(b) Be able to speak fluent Cantonese and write Chinese;
(c) Be able to speak, read and write simple English;
(d) Have basic knowledge on common computer application and using the internet;
(e) Have experience in operating simple audio-visual system; and
(f) Preference will be given to applicants with relevant experience. 
Note: (a) To work mainly in Central and Western District. Outdoor duties may be required.
(b) Irregular hours, required to work on weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. 
Duties: (a) To assist in running Community Centres and Community Halls (CCs/CHs) including handling check-ins and check-outs of users, assisting users in using the facilities or equipment, handling enquiries, assembling and disassembling sliding partitions, tables, chairs and other facilities, moving furniture and equipment, etc.;
(b) To assist in the management of CCs/CHs including monitoring the use of facilities, inspecting and reporting the condition of facilities, overseeing the general condition of security, maintenance, hygiene, etc.;
(c) To clean the CCs/CHs and assist the operation of temporary shelter in CCs/CHs on need basis;
(d) To assist in the implementation of district activities on need basis; and
(e) To perform any other assigned duties. 
Terms of Appointment: Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms 
Fringe Benefits Subject to the statutory requirements of Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance. 
General Notes: (a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. The form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau's website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). The completed application form, together with photocopies of academic certificates and employment proofs (e.g. employment certificates, reference letters, etc.), should reach the address below by post or in person no later than the closing date for applications. For submission by post, the deadline is based on the stamp chop date. Please ensure that sufficient postage is paid to avoid unsuccessful delivery of application.
